The food was great and the service was awesome

Bah! I was there 3 years ago and they had the mist amazing club sandwich on ciabatta bread..ideas looking forewards to it. BUT! IS NO LONGER .I was disappointed with the regular holsum bread nothing special and it was pricey too. Won't go back.

Nice clean place, good food good atmosphere

Unpretentious homely breakfast joint with options for a quick brunch or lunch. No vegetarian options. Had the cauliflower cheese soup and the tomato harvest soup. Both soups were tasty with a touch of eating home cooked food. Had the peameal bacon which is truly Canadian. Would recommend it for a Canadian breakfast.

Great little restaurant. Good home made style food, very reasonably priced. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely plan on returning next time we are up in Durham.

We all got burgers. The burgers are so juicy and fresh. The fries where fresh and crispy.

Has everything I love about good old fashioned diner. Good fun. Was greeted enthusiastically and it sets tone!!! Ordered the banquet burger and it was no disappointment. Cooked perfectly, juicy and great flavour. Nice salad that was fresh and it was like it was just made. Great. I enjoyed our stop here and it’s worth the visit when we’re back in town.

Stopped here on our way through. My husband had the club sandwich with fries and gravy. It was perfect and I had the eggs Benedict which was delicious. I don't even know how the home fries tasted so good. Friendly fast service. We will definitely stop here again.

Typically a good cozy place to eat. Eggs were cold and a little rubbery but the coffee is always good.

Everyone there seems to be very focused on providing the best eating experience they can. The waitresses have a good sense of humor and are willing to joke around with the regulars.

Really good food, prices were good. I had a lunch special for 12$ and was quite full when I was finished.

Waitress came right away. Took order very friendly. Homey atmosphere, has tables for multi persons or for two your choice. Food is fantastic. I loved the coin fries and eggs were cooked just right. Been twice will go again. Great people running this restaurant

Frys aren't cooked enough fish was tiny was supposed to be deep fried pickle was a pile of shredded pickle and deep fried batter separately and melted through the togo container but the burger and chicken fingers where good but meal was not worth 50 bucks very disappointed

It is very much what you expect at the Country Corner Eatery. Burgers, fish and chips, and all day breakfast. Come for a cheap quick meal but realize you should lower your expectations for atmosphere or award winning dishes.

2nd year we reserved a table for Valentines Dinner 2020. Food, atmosphere & service was awesome! Will make it a tradition. Great place to go in Durham for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Will never disappoint. Got to try it if you haven't already. A little place with big heart.💖

Went to this restaurant for breakfast with my family and their food was so good and portions are fairly big. Service was exceptionally great. This place was really busy but service was really quick. Recommend this restaurant with five stars and will definitely return.

Lovely cozy little small town restaurant. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food was great, even if it was mostly cooked from frozen. The prices were good and we will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.
